Pioneer Woman's blog is my favorite blog. Her pictures are so wonderful...dd drools over their Mustangs. Since PW inspires me soooo much, I decided to pass along my NEW favorite recipe. I actually made this up...I am just soooo creative! (You'll laugh when you see HOW creative!)
So, I'm going to do the PW thing and show you my recipe; complete with pictures!
This no-bake recipe is so yummy. It's become a big favorite of mine.
In keeping with my 5-Ingredient or less rule; here are the things you will need.
Yogurt: I love the Publix Honey Almond. YUM!
Blueberries: As many as you like. Don't sugar them up!
Granola Bar: Whatever flavor you like. They usually come 2 bars to a package...but I only use one in this recipe.
Put 1/2 the container of yogurt in a bowl.
Pour blueberries on top. Use as many as you like.
Stir in the berries. Make sure each berry is covered in yogurt. See how juicy these are? Yummmm...
Put one granola bar in a plastic bag...or just out on the counter if you like lots of crumbs everywhere! Then take a coffee cup, the back of a spoon, or even your hand to crush the bar up. Just make it nice and crumbly. Today I used my favorite antique jelly jar. The dinosaur seems to be stepping on it with his big feet. This is also a good way to clear up any frustration you might have...you know...destroying something.
This is what the crushed bar should look like, unless you get carried away!
Carefully pour the crushed granola across the top of the blueberry and yogurt mixture. I say "carefully" because many times the dinosaur gets a little excited and pokes holes in the sandwich bag while crushing the granola. So, be careful that the crumbs don't miss the bowl!
This is what it should look like...without my shadow, of course.
This is what it will look like VERY quickly. Yummmm.... I could probably eat this every meal for dessert! Since you only used 1/2 the yogurt, and 1/2 the granola bar pkg...you'll have enough to make two of these!!!
I know you're thinking..."but Meg.. the grocery store sells fruit yogurt with the crunchies attached on top." They must have copied me somehow...
Stay tuned for more yummy blueberry recipes...perhaps, not quite as complicated as this one! LOL!!

yum! Makes me want this for breakfast! I am impressed that the grocery store is already copying you lol!!
O.K. You are always mentioning this Pioneer Woman, that I had to go check out her blog today. She webs an interesting tale. Now you may have hooked someone else onto her blog!
I have also made YOUR blueberry yogurt crunch recipe before. I don't know how I did that before I ever read your blog. Strange, I must be physic or something. But I did cheat a little by using granola cereal. Then you can eliminate using your antique jelly jar to smash you granola bar. Or you can get creative like your Pioneer Woman and make you own granola. But you might go over your 5-ingredient limit. LOL!

I would love to make that recipe if only my friend who promised me blueberries from her freezer would deliver!!! J/K
I loved the step by step instructions for those of us who don't catch on so quickly. I don't have the jelly glass -- will a can of soup work?
Now I'm hungry!
Yummm! I love granola!
Yum indeed...if only this recipe wouldn't cost me around $5 to make I think I'd start working on a batch right now.
I just love seeing that Brazil flag over to the right:-)
That looks SO yummy & probably cheaper than buying the fancy shmancy yogurt ;)
I LOVE the P-Dub. Thanks for dropping by! My kids 'currency' is their clothes. When I was trying to get them to help me clean up for the move yesterday, I threatened that we wouldn't take any of their toys with us, and they were rather apathetic. So I told them I wouldn't take any clothes either, and they could only have what they were wearing right that very second, and my goodness! The world had ended. There was wailing and gnashing of teeth. I think my kids are the only ones in the world who actully ~like~ getting clothes for Christmas. *grin*
Hope to 'see' you again!
oh what a creative mother I have!
:)
Oh! And you KNOW you need me!! I'm so proud about helping you find your layout! hehe!
You changed the look of the blog! I went to see if you had an update. Perhaps another great recipe using the blueberries I don't have and low and behold, it looks different. I was going to say you have too much time on your hands but then I see that Becky helped so I'll refrain from judging how you spend your time. You could, however, have been driving blueberries over to me instead . . .
Yum!! What's not to love? I have to admit, I've checked out PW's website now too, and I've been drooling over her Photoshop techniques. She seems to be a jack-of-all-trades!
What a fun post! The yogurt looks delicious, I love PW, we have those exact same bowls, and I can't believe you called the glass antique... we had those when I was a little girl, lol!!
Very nice on the P-dub inspired post, btw. :)
Yum!
